Our Story

Asset Preservation was sparked during the Great Recession of 2008. Prior to forming Asset, Bruce Burr, its founder, was a highly decorated custom home builder throughout the metro area of Phoenix Arizona. With the housing market drying up and foreclosures on the rise, Bruce saw a need to create a company that could help solve the issues of neighborhood blight and the deterioration of the housing market. Asset became a steppingstone for many as we all struggled through the Great Recession. Having lost everything, (including being foreclosed on), Bruce jumped in and performed all the services himself. Through hard work and the will to survive, a company was created that understands what hardship is and has compassion for those in its midst. Taylor Burr came aboard several years later and worked in the field to learn the business. Over the years he became the Chief Executive Officer of Asset. Cody Burr came on a few years after that and worked in the field for some time and is now President of Asset.

The mission and passion of Asset is to provide a stable and sustainable work environment while providing personal support to its employees and sub-contractors. Our staff is in tune with the heartbeat of the company, and they all understand the needs of our vendors. We love our people!

Foreclosure is very difficult time and process for those working through it. We respect that. This is why our mantra is: Gracious, Loving, and Kind. We love our people, and we respect the homeowners going through the process. We’ve been there.

Asset was started on nothing, and we continue our charge to be the absolute best in the industry with a level of respect that surpasses the norm.
